What is a Recovery High School?
A Place Where Sobriety and Education Work Together
A recovery high school is a fully accredited school designed specifically for students who are committed to living free from alcohol and drugs while completing their education.
At Mission Academy, students receive a quality high school education in a recovery-centered environment where sobriety, accountability, and personal growth are part of everyday life.
As Oklahoma's only recovery high school, Mission Academy helps students stay on track academically while building the skills, relationships, and support systems needed for lasting recovery.
More Than a School. More Than Recovery Support.
For many teens, returning to a traditional school after treatment or early recovery can be challenging. Exposure to substance use, unhealthy peer groups, and environments that do not support recovery can create barriers to long-term success.
Recovery high schools were created to bridge that gap.
Mission Academy combines accredited academics with recovery support, positive peer connections, mentoring, family engagement, and structured accountability so students can continue both their education and their recovery journey.
Teen Recovery Solutions provides the recovery support services that surround students with encouragement, connection, and opportunities to grow.
Accredited Education
Students complete diploma-track coursework taught by licensed educators in a Cognia-accredited high school. Small class sizes and individualized learning plans help students earn credits, stay engaged, and prepare for graduation.
A Community for Recovery
Students learn alongside peers who share a commitment to sobriety. Daily accountability, positive relationships, recovery programming, and supportive staff create an environment where students can thrive and build a foundation for lifelong sobriety.
Family & Parent Support
Recovery changes the whole family, and TRS walks alongside parents and caregivers as well. Through parent support groups, one-on-one parent coaching, and a monthly Family Night open to the public, families build the tools and community to support their teen without losing themselves.
