Privacy Policy

Teen Recovery Solutions Effective Date: September 14, 2026

Teen Recovery Solutions ("TRS," "we," "us," or "our") is an Oklahoma nonprofit organization (501(c)(3), EIN 73-1596226) that provides education, mentoring, social work services, and community support to teens and families. We do not provide medical treatment, detox, or clinical therapy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit helpteensok.org (the "Site").

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly, such as when you:

  • Sign up for our newsletter or annual report ("Join the Mission")

  • Contact us through the Site or by phone

  • Reach out because you or a family member is interested in Mission Academy, the Alternative Peer Group, or another TRS program

  • Register for an event (such as the Reclaimed Luncheon) or make a donation

  • Apply for a staff or volunteer role, if applicable

This may include your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and any information you choose to share about yourself, your family, or your teen when reaching out for support.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our Site (hosted on Squarespace) automatically collects technical information when you visit—such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at the Site—through cookies and similar technologies.

Payment and donation information. When you donate or purchase event tickets, a third-party payment processor (currently Qgiv) processes your payment. TRS does not collect or store your full card number; our processor handles that information under its own security standards and privacy policy.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your questions or requests for information

  • Process donations and event registrations, and send receipts

  • Send newsletters, our annual report, and updates about TRS's work (only if you've signed up)

  • Improve the Site and understand how visitors use it

  • Communicate with families who have reached out about our programs

  • Meet our legal and reporting obligations as a nonprofit organization

3. Cookies and Analytics

Our Site uses cookies and similar tools provided by our hosting platform (Squarespace) and may use analytics or advertising tools such as Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand how visitors use the Site and measure the reach of our outreach and fundraising efforts. These tools may place cookies on your device. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how the Site functions.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Site and our programs (for example, our payment processor, email service, and hosting provider), who may only use it to provide those services to us

  • Government agencies or authorities when required by law, or to protect the safety of a student, family member, or the public

  • A successor organization in the unlikely event of a merger or reorganization of TRS

5. Information About Your Teen or Family

If you contact us about enrollment or support for a teenager, you voluntarily provide any information you share as a parent, guardian, or referring adult. We treat this information with discretion, and only TRS staff involved in responding to your inquiry or providing services can access it. This Privacy Policy covers information submitted through the Site; information collected as part of formal enrollment, academic records, or ongoing program services is governed separately by our enrollment paperwork and applicable education and privacy laws.

6. Children's Privacy

This Site is directed to parents, guardians, donors, and other adults — not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through this Site. If we learn a child under 13 has provided us with information directly (outside of a parent or guardian submitting it on their behalf), we will delete it. If you believe your child has provided us information directly, contact us using the information below.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices

  • You may unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email we send.

  • You may contact us to ask what information we have about you, to correct it, or to request that we delete it, subject to any legal or recordkeeping obligations we have as a nonprofit.

9. Third-Party Links

Our Site may link to third-party websites (for example, our donation processor or social media pages). We are not responsible for those sites' privacy practices or content, and we encourage you to review their policies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Effective Date above reflects the most recent revision.
